We are committed to co-creating a beloved, inclusive, brave, holistic and intentional community. Bioneers staff and organizers are committed to showing up with a full heart and an open mind to embrace the opportunities for learning together. 

We do not have the resources to provide signing and simultaneous translation for our courses.

Bioneers Learning Conduct and Policy:

All course attendees, faculty/instructors and Bioneers staff are required to adhere to the following Code of Conduct. Bioneers Learning staff will enforce this Code in all courses.

Prior to a Bioneers Learning course, all participants are requested to have read this policy.

The Bioneers Learning virtual campus is a harassment-free, respectful and inclusive environment that recognizes the inherent worth of every participant. We invite all those who participate to help us to co-create a safe, brave and welcoming  experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, political affiliation or spiritual belief (or lack thereof). 

Harassment includes but is not limited to negative stereotyping, name calling, covert indirect racist statements, polarizing political fishing, disrespecting or trying to explain another person’s cultural lineages or traditions that are different than your own, etc. 

We do not tolerate harassment of participants or faculty/instructors in any form, including discriminatory language, stereotyping during any aspect of this virtual course, i.e. live instruction, breakouts, or any other online media.

Our aim at Bioneers Learning is to create opportunities for learning, connecting and co-creating a stronger community. Our goal is to nurture an environment where everyone feels included, welcome to participate, speak up, ask questions, and engage in conversation. 

Expected behavior:

Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions.

Ask, attempt collaboration or clarification, before initiating conflict. 

Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech. Think before you type and think again before you submit. 

Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants. Please alert Bioneers staff if you notice a dangerous situation, someone in distress, or violations of this Code of Conduct, even if they seem inconsequential.

During this virtual course or any of its related events, no participant should engage in harassment in any form.

Do not disrupt the virtual course or engage in harm or threats of any kind. Do not create/contribute to a safety threat, unsafe or exclusionary action or situation. 

We encourage participants to be mindful of their comments, side commentary and questions in the chat and whether they are generative or distracting from the content taking place in the course.

Please do not make audio or visual recordings or screenshots of the course in any medium.  

Participants violating these rules may be expelled from the Bioneers Learning course  at the discretion of Bioneers. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Reporting an incident:

If you see, overhear or experience a violation of the Code of Conduct during a virtual event, and would like to report a violation, please let us know by emailing [email protected].
